2. Write: Blind Draft
- Step 1: Open a new composing document and save it as “Blind Draft.” Set up the document according to our class formatting requirements. Cover your computer screen with a towel or something that prevents you from seeing what you write. Set a timer for 15 minutes and begin typing on the following topic, however you interpret it: “Where do you live?”

- Step 2: Revise the blind draft into a 1- to 2-page essay. (Save as another file name so you have the original version for future reference.) Be sure to change the assignment name in the heading to indicate that this is the revised blind draft. Print the revision.
- Step 3: Staple these together and bring to class Thursday.
